VACANCY ON RALPH C. MAHAR SCHOOL COMMITTEE

The Ralph C. Mahar Regional School Committee voted in a special meeting held on September 20, 2011 to accept the resignation of elected Town of Orange Representative, Nadine Parsons. Mrs. Parsons submitted her resignation on September 12, 2011. In accepting the resignation of Mrs. Parsons many school committee members took time to comment on the educational value that Mrs. Parsons brought to the committee.

In accordance with the Regional Agreement for the Ralph C. Mahar Regional School District the Orange Elementary School Committee must submit to the Town Moderator for the Town of Orange three nominees. The Town Moderator will select from this list of three people a successor who will serve until the next annual election, and then the person who elected in the annual election shall serve out the remainder or Mrs. Parsons’ term.
