COVID Resources

As we all continue to deal with the effects of COVID-19, from school closure and travel restrictions to vaccinations and mask fatigue, the following resources can help as we transition back into in-person learning opportunities.

As always, feel free to reach out with questions or concerns.

Orange Elementary Reopening Plan

We are thrilled to welcome students back into the classroom! Though learning looks a little different than we’re used to, this baby step toward normalcy is good news.

Students participating in our in-person learning model attend school in small cohorts four days a week. Students remain in one classroom throughout the day, social-distancing and wearing masks, while receiving face-to-face instruction. Those students for whom this model does not work may opt to continue learning virtually.

To learn more, please see our In-Person Model Parent Guide.

Guide To Google Classroom

Most of our students’ work and communication with teachers happens on Google Classroom. To access your child’s account, you will need their school email address and password. If you need help with either, contact your child’s teacher. Email addresses follow this pattern (please note, there is a [dot] between the first and last name of the address).

Once you have successfully logged in, a pictorial menu of your child’s classes will be visible. Simply click on the appropriate class to access assignments. This tutorial may help.
