Celebrate the Sun at Fisher Hill!

We invite you to join us for the celebration of Earth Day on Tuesday, April 22 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

All are welcome to enjoy the free activities. Children must be supervised by an adult. Bring grandparents, friends, and others to see the solar panels and new outdoor space. We will serve refreshments!

Activities include the following:

From 1:00 to 1:30 p.m., Phil Valiquette-LaLonde, electrician and electrical foreman with Solect Energy, will give a family-friendly solar talk in the amphitheater area (follow the signs). Solect Energy is the company installing the solar panels and battery at Fisher Hill.

Starting at 1:30 p.m., there will be activities at the future site of the outdoor classroom. We will enjoy making sun prints with Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust. We will also enjoy planting Sungold tomatoes/sunflowers with Seeds of Solidarity. There will also be an "Unnatural things” scavenger hunt walk with Athol Bird & Nature Club.
